Parent Peer Research Navigator
Our team is seeking a Parent Peer Research Navigator to help provide non-clinical support, guidance and assistance for patients and families as they navigate through complex healthcare environments. This research study is being conducted to improve the informed consent process for Hispanic families of children and adolescents with cancer and the services we provide.
The Parent Peer Research Navigator provides services to Oncology parents as part of a research study. They will meet one-on-one with parents of children with cancer to provide information and decision-making tools to help parents better understand treatment clinical trials. They build strong relationships with parents of children with cancer to improve their experience and understanding of the consenting process for pediatric cancer treatment.
